Kinesiology Tape – Random Question While Out Biking

Kinesiology Tape – Random Question While Out Biking

I hope your keeping fit, & staying injury free so you can make the most of your training.

While wearing my kinesiology tape around my knee & getting a drink on a coffee ride, an older person sitting on the table next to me asked, what is that colourful tape you’re wearing and why are you wearing it?

I tried to think of somewhere else they may have seen it & the only place I could think of was on the Olympics. “You may have seen it being used on the Olympics, athletes with brightly-coloured strips of tape arranged in odd patterns”. (Not that I was comparing myself to any of those elite sports men or women.) Finally he remembered he had seen it on the women's volleyball (strange).

Increasingly Kinesiology tape is being seen on professional, recreational athletes & gym goers like you & me.

Kinesiology tape can help take pressure off overused & overworked muscles and offer support where you need it. Using No Label Pro Kinesiology Tape tape can help to reduce swelling and alleviate/reduce pain from injuries. (we all know what that feels like)

For an example Kinesiology tape can be used to pull back a shoulder that is hunching forward. Or to reduce swelling in a joint. Kinesiology Tape can be used to pull up the skin and create an area of low pressure.

Tape can be applied along the length of a tired muscle for support. Applying the tape allows your muscles to have a rest for a day or two so they have time to recover.

I personally use this for long cycle rides & for tired muscles for my gruelling sessions at my local box.

Anyway thats enough from me I hope you’re training smart and injury free.
